Online conference to disseminate the Law on judicial records

As scheduled, on 25 February, Ministry of Justice will organize the online conference to disseminate the Law on judicial records in three conference bridges (Hochiminh city, Hanoi and Danang). The conference will be chaired by Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung.

On 24 January 2011, Ministry of Justice organized the conference summarizing the Party works in 2010 and implementing the tasks in 2011. Attending the meeting were Mr Ha Hung Cuong- Justice Minister, member of the 11th Central Party Committee- and other members of Ministry’s Party committee. Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung- Secretary of Ministry’s Party committee- chaired the meeting.

On 24 January, Ministry of Justice held the meeting with retired officials on the occasion of New Year 2011. Attending the meeting were Mr Nguyen Dinh Loc- former Minister of Justice, former leaders and officials of departments under Ministry of Justice. They were received by Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung.
Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong was elected to the 11th Party Central Committee

The on-going National Party Congress on January 18 introduced the list of 11th Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee’s members ( including 175 official members and 25 alternate members). Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong, member of 10th Party Central Committee, was re-elected to the 11th Party Central Committee.
Conference “German experiences on legislation and administrative law implementation” was held in Hanoi

Under the cooperation programme on legal implementation between Ministry of Justice and IRZ Foundation, Ministry of Justice coordinated with Supreme People’s Court, Supreme People’s Procuracy, Judicial committee of the National Assembly and judges of Federal Administrative Court of Germany to organize the conference titled “German experiences on legislation and administrative law implementation” on two days (11-12 January 2011). Department of Criminal and Administrative Legislation under Ministry of Justice chaired the conference.
The training conference introducing the law on state compensation

On 31 December 2010, Department of legal dissemination and education coordinated with Department of economic-civil legislation under Ministry of Justice to organize the training conference introducing the content of the law on state compensation and its guiding documents. The training conference witnessed the attendance of the divisions’leaders from departments under Ministry of Justice.

A seminar evaluating effectiveness of the legal dissemination and education at school to be held

On 29 December 2010, Ministry of Justice coordinated with Ministry of Education and Training to organize the seminar evaluating effectiveness of the legal dissemination and education at school. The seminar witnessed the participation of delegates from some functional agencies under the two ministries, local departments of justice, local departments of education and training and schools in Hanoi. Mr Nguyen Duy Lam, Director of legal dissemination and education department under Ministry of Justice, and Mr Chu Hong Thanh, Director of justice department under Ministry of Education and Training, co-chaired the seminar.
