Attending the meeting were representatives from Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Information and Education Commission, Press and Information Department under ministry of foreign affairs and press agencies. Minister Ha Hung Cuong and other leaders of departments under ministry of justice also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr Le Hong Son, Chief Executive of Justice Ministry’s Office, thanked press agencies for their positive and active cooperation in promulgating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws as well as reflecting up-to-date comprehensive and accurate activities of Justice Sector, which helped Ministry of Justice to fulfil its assigned tasks. While sharing the working results of the sector in 2010 and its central tasks in 2011, he expressed his hope that the sector and ministry of justice would receive more support and cooperation from press agencies.
For their part, journalists thanked Ministry of Justice for providing up-to-date comprehensive information on its activities. They also proposed recommendations to improve the quality and effectiveness of two sides’ coordination in the coming time.
Addressing at the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong praised press’s cooperation with Ministry of Justice. He also informed some notable matters that received lots of concerns such as: building laws and implement guiding documents, the civil judgement enforcement, the task of examining and resolving the legal documents and the establishment and operations of National Center for judicial records.
