On 29 December 2010, Ministry of Justice coordinated with Ministry of Education and Training to organize the seminar evaluating effectiveness of the legal dissemination and education at school. The seminar witnessed the participation of delegates from some functional agencies under the two ministries, local departments of justice, local departments of education and training and schools in Hanoi. Mr Nguyen Duy Lam, Director of legal dissemination and education department under Ministry of Justice, and Mr Chu Hong Thanh, Director of justice department under Ministry of Education and Training, co-chaired the seminar.
During the past few years, the law teaching and learning in schools has received great concerns, the legal dissemination and education has become one of the frequent and significant tasks in schools. This task has been also widely carried out in schools, especially since Direction No 32 –CT/ TW of the Central Party Secretary on enhancing the leadership of the Party in legal dissemination and education and raising people’s awareness of legal implementation came into effect.
At the seminar, delegates listened to several presentations and then discussed the related matters. They also made recommendations and proposals to enhance and improve the legal dissemination and education in the coming time such as: raising the awareness of the important status and role of the legal dissemination and education in schools, improving the ability of the staff implementing the legal dissemination and education, buiding the coordinated plan, working status, regulations and policies to assure the budget for the legal dissemination and education in schools, renovating the methods of legal dissemination and education…/.-ITD
