1. Justice Sector received the Gold Star Order - the most noble reward of the nation –for dramatically significant achievements of Justice Sector in the cause of national development and protection, remarkably contributing to the Party and national revolution.
2. The inauguration of Ministry of Justice's national historical site. With the deep gratefulness to previous generations and Tuyen Quang ethnic people as well as the wish to remain and bring into play the tradition of the Sector, Ministry of Justice, on the occasion of marking its 65th anniversary, inaugurated the national historical Site in Tuyen Quang province.
3. Justice Sector assisted the Government to review 5 years of implementing the Politburo resolution 48-NQ/TW on Vietnam’s law system building and perfecting strategy to 2010 and visions to 2020.
4. The Draft Law on Hanoi Capital City was submitted to the National Assembly and the conference on ““1000 years of Thang Long- Hanoi with the country’s significant political and legal events” was successfully organized.
5. The task of strengthening and consolidating the system of civil judgement enforcement agencies was basically fulfilled from central to local levels.
6. The National Assembly ratified the Law on Child Adoption and Viet Nam has officially adopted the Hague convention on the Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption
7. The National Center of judicial records was established and Decree on Auction was promulgated.
8. Ministry of Justice successfully organized its first Party Congress with the status as the Party Committee at upper grassroot level.
9. The personnel organization was directed with a focus on the grassroot level.
