On 8 January 2011, Ministry of Justice’s working delegation led by Minister Ha Hung Cuong paid a working visit to Can Tho provincial departments of justice and civil judgement enforcement.
At the reception, Mr Nguyen Thanh Dong, Director of Can Tho provincial department of justice, reported that the provincial justice sector gained significant achievements in 2010. However, few individuals’ wrongdoings resulted in bad image to the sector. The provincial justice sector is making efforts to repair effects of these wrongdoings.
While delivering a speech, Minister Ha Hung Cuong noted that Can Tho was both a large city in Mekong Delta Region and a large rice growing area so that the provincial justice sector needed to give advisory opinions to Ministry of Justice on the new decrees on rice export to protect the farmers’ rights. The provincial department of justice should also start to build and implement the work of judicial records.
Visiting Can Tho provincial department of civil judgement enforcement, Justice Minister acknowledged its significant changes. However, the department needs to make more efforts corresponding to the current status of the sector. The youth Judgment Executors need to equip themselves with professional knowledge and skills and adopt colleagues’ experiences to meet the demand of the new tasks in the coming time.
