Ministry of Justice held the first meeting of the compilation Committee of the Civil Code (amended)
On April 26, Ministry of Justice hosted the first session of the compilation Committee of the Civil Code (amended) on the contents: Introduction of the compilation Committee and the editorial group; collecting comments of the compilation committee on the plans to amend the Civil Code; regulation of the compilation Committee and the editorial group; plan reviewing the implementation of the 2005 Civil Code; views and orientations in compiling the Civil Code (as amended). Minister Ha Hung Cuong, Chairman of the compilation Committee, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung announced Resolution No.439/NQ-UBTVQH13 dated January 17, 2012 of the Standing Committee of National Assembly XIII on establishing the compilation Committee for the Civil Code (as amended) and Decision of the Minister of Justice on the establishment of the editorial group.
On behalf of the Standing body of the compilation Committee, Mr. Duong Dang Hue, Director of the
Department of Economic-Civil Legislation, member of the Drafting Committee and Head of the editorial group, introduced the Plan for amending the Civil Code, Regulations of the compilation Committee and the editorial group, plan reviewing the implementation of the Civil Code, and major orientations in building the Civil Code (as amended).

Concluded at the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong, Chairman of the compilation Committee, gave thanks to the opinions and contributions of the complilation Committee’s members and acknowledged the well - prepared documents and content for the meeting.
As planned, the next meeting of the compilation committee will be held in June 2012.
