Vietnamese Justice Ministry and China Bar Association exchange legal reform experience on handling administrative violations
On April 09, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa, Director of Criminal and Administrative Legislation Department and Mr. Dang Thanh Son, Director of National Center for criminal record under Ministry of Justice had a meeting with the delegation of China Bar Association led by Mr. Ly Si Xuan, Director of the legal research Institute, China Bar Association.

The meeting aims at exchanging experiences in the legal reform and lessons during the implementation of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations in Vietnam, focusing on the reforms in the provisions related to administrative sanctions and effective implementation of the measures as taken to reform schools, medical establishments mandatory when switching to the people's court decision applied.

According to Mr. Ly Si Xuan, Vietnam has made significant innovation in judicial reform and he hoped that Law on Handling of Administrative Violations will be effective in practice. Mr. Xuan also said that he would obtain more experience on handling administrative violations in Vietnam.
