On March 18, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong had a meeting with Ms. Kathleen Lynch - Minister of State, Department of Health and Department of Justice, Equality & Defence with responsibility for Disability, Older People, Equality & Mental Health on the occasion of her working visit to Vietnam.
The two sides discussed issues related
to policy, practice adoption between Ireland and Vietnam, the judicial policy against
minors while Vietnam is amending the criminal law, strengthening legal aid work
... Both sides agreed to continue the cooperation, especially in the field of adoption
under the laws of the two countries and the Hague Convention on international adoptions.

Ministry of Justice for giving her warm
welcome, Ms. Kathleen Lynch promised she would gave invitation of
Minister Ha Hung Cuong to Justice Minister of Ireland to visit Vietnamese Ministry
of Justice HQ to direct the discussion on the plan of cooperation between the two
ministries.
