At the meeting, Standing Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien expressed his pleasure of meeting with the Chief Justice. He said that there were now many Ministry of Justice officials having studied in Russia and this created favorable conditions for both sides to further strengthen cooperation activities in the coming time.
For his part, Chief Justice Lebedev thanked Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien for his warm welcome and shared his good impression on Vietnam. He then introduced to the Deputy Minister about major functions of the Supreme Court of Russian Federation. He added that the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation always kept a close contact with each other on the basis of national interests and ethnicity.
The two sides also exchanged views, discussed and shared information and experiences in the field of training and appointment of judges in each country./.-ITD
