Negotiation of Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia
Vietnam's negotiation delegation left for Phnom Penh to conduct the first round of negotiation of Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia from July 27 to July 30.
The negotiation delegation including representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, the Office of the State President and the Supreme People's Court was led by Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Duc Chinh. The delegation came to greet Justice Minister of Cambodia on July 28.

At the meeting, Minister Avong Vatthana affirmed the need for negotiation and expressed the hope that two sides would soon sign the mutual legal assistance agreement in order to create a legal basis for promoting civil and trade relations between two countries.

Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Duc Chinh gave thanks to Minister Avong Vatthana and Cambodian Ministry of Justice for their warm welcome and well preparation for the first round of negotiation. On this occasion, he conveyed greetings of Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong to Mr. Avong Vatthana./.-ITD
