Negotiation of Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between Vietnam and Kazakhstan

In order to enhance development of cooperation in economy, trade and investment between Vietnam and Kazakhstan, in the official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan in mid-September 2009, the leaders of two Governments and two Ministers of Justice had consented to a need of creating common legal frameworks, including negotiation and conclusion of Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between two countries.
Therefore, from 5 to 7 July 2011, Vietnam Ministry of Justice, on behalf of the Government, hosted a negotiation of Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between Vietnam and Kazakhstan (First Round). On Vietnamese side, the negotiating delegation was led by Mr Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, General Director of International Cooperation Department under Ministry of Justice. And on the Kazakhstani side, the negotiating delegation was conducted under the lead of Mr Yessirkepov Arslan, Head of the Division, Department of Legal Analysis and Propaganda under Ministry of Justice.

Both Parties expressed the hope that Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between Vietnam and Kazakhstan would be signed soon in order to provide favorable conditions for citizens and organizations of both countries in dealing with civil, marriage and family, business, commercial and labour matters./.
