Minister Ha Hung Cuong on July 11 received Mr. Christophe Bahuet, outgoing UNDP Deputy Country Director in Vietnam, on the occasion of ending his tenure.
At the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong has sent thanks to the Deputy Country Director for his active and sincere contribution to the relationship between Vietnam and UNDP. The Minister affirmed that the justice sector has recently stepped up legal and judicial reforms and has made remarkable progress with the helps of friends like UNDP.
Mr. Christophe Bahuet thanked Minister Ha Hung Cuong and expressed his pleasure for the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and UNDP. He also wished that the bilateral cooperation would constantly develop and achieve remarkable results.
In the long term plan (2012-2015) of UNDP, the legal and judicial reform plays an important position. Therefore, two sides will have plenty of opportunities to cooperate with each other.
For his part, Mr. Christophe Bahuet said that he would be always willing to assist Vietnam in the legal and judicial fields as well as promote the relation between Vietnam and UNDP./.-ITD
