The justice meeting of Vietnamese and Lao border provinces: Strengthening cooperation in dealing with justice issues
In two days (June 27 – 28), Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice coordinated with Lao Ministry of Justice to organize the justice meeting of Vietnamese and Lao border provinces in Sam Son, Thanh Hoa province.

The meeting will focus on issues relating to the management of civil judgment enforcement, lawyers, legal consultants, nationality and civil status between two countries as well as the cooperation between Vietnamese and Lao border provinces in solving justice issues.

With the attendance of Minister Ha Hung Cuong and his Lao counterpart Chaleuan Yapaoher, leaders of departments under two Ministries of Justice, leaders of the provincial or municipal Justice Departments and agencies of Civil Judgment Enforcement from Vietnamese and Lao border provinces and representatives from  Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam, the meeting will exchange experiences and suggest ways to strengthen bilateral justice cooperation, creating favorable conditions for justice and civil judgment enforcement agencies in two countries’ border provinces to establish working relationship and solving issues within their scope of management.

This activity aimed at implementing the 2011 Cooperation Plan within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between two Ministries of Justice and strengthening the mutual relationships, understanding and support in effectively addressing justice issues in Vietnamese and Lao border provinces./.-ITD
