Conference on international cooperation in 2012
Ministry of Justice on February 23 held the Conference deploying the international cooperation tasks for 2012  with the participation of the Deputy Ministers Le Hong Son, Le Thanh Long and representatives of agencies under the MOJ, representatives from related ministries and sectors (the Office of the President, Office of the National Assembly, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs...).  Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Depurt Minister Hoang The Lien co-chaired the conference.
In the 2007- 2011 period, international cooperation activities of the Ministry of Justice were strengthened and developed both in quantity and quality, actively supported and fulfilled political and professional tasks of the Ministry and Sector, contributing to the integration process into the region and the world of Vietnam in general and Ministry of Justice in particular.

In the next stage ( 2011-2016), the internation cooperation tasks will focus on key orientations: strengthening the effectiveness of state management on international  cooperation in the legal field; creating the positive changes in legal assistance; promoting the effectiveness and ensuring legal basis that help Ministry of Justice actively participate in negotiations on international conventions and agreements relevant to civil and international commerce disputes…

Delivered speech at the conference, Minister Ha Hung Cuong emphasized that international cooperation  should link to international laws as well as activities of state management and law building of units under MOJ.

The Minister proposed that in 2012 the Ministry need to build external strategy on law and justice of the country by 2020; comply with the provisions of law on mutual legal assistance, of which Ministry of Justice was the focal point; build projects to perform the advisory functions to the Government on civil and international commerce disputes; build a mechanism for coordination among ministries, ministerial-level agencies, the Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy in international legal and judicial cooperation .../.-ITD
