To implement the objectives in the first stage of the Project titled “Consolidating, strengthening and enhancing the quality of human resources in legal dissemination and education to meet the requirements of the national renovation and development”, in two days (September 29-30), in Long An province, Ministry of Justice held the training seminar on the legal knowledge and professional skills of legal dissemination and education for legal officials from agencies of People’s Committees in Southern provinces and cities.
Attending the seminar were Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thuy Hien; Mr Do Huu Lam, Chairman of Long An provincial People’s Council; Mr Duong Quoc Xuan, Party Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Long An provincial People’s Committee and 170 delegates representing Departments of Justice in Southern provinces and cities.
The seminar attenders listened to legal reporters from Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, Hanoi National University, National Economic University to introduce latest regulations on penal judgement enforcement, trade arbitration; some amendments of Penal Code; the legal consulting skills and measures to improve the effects of legal dissemination and education.
The delegates highly appreciated the newly changed training methods and contents at this year’s seminar which met the practical requirements of human resoures forstering and training at local level. They also proposed Ministry of Justice to go on implementing activities that help strengthen the work of legal dissemination and education at grassroot level./.-ITD
