MOJ’s conference:  “1000 years of Thang Long- Hanoi with the country’s significant political and legal events”
On the morning of September 16th, Ministry of Justice held the conference titled “1000 years of Thang Long- Hanoi with the country’s significant political and legal events” in the main hall of the Temple of Literature. This was an event held to welcome the Great 1000 year anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Attending the conference were Mr Ha Hung Cuong-Minister of Justice, Mr Hoang The Lien-Standing Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr Nguyen Duc Chinh-Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr Le Thuc Anh-President of the Vietnam Bar Federation and representatives from other ministries, sectors and Hanoi People’s Committee.

After lightning incense to express the gratitude to the ancient scholars, Minister Ha Hung Cuong delivered the opening speech. He stated that the conference would help the Ministry of Justice, together with the scientists and experts in the fields of justice and history, review the significant political and legal events  occuring in Thang Long -  Ha noi and withdraw our forefather’ s lessons on reassuring the people and governing the country… The results then made a contribution to the policy determination of social and economic development, strengthening the national security - defence and improving the national foreign affair status.

During the conference, audience listened to researches with highly theoretical and practical value. All these reseaches showed the authors’ concerns over the history, culture and political and legal events of the one thousand year capital./.- ITD
