Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong received French Ambassador On the evening of September 16, Mr Jean Francois Girault, French Ambassador to Vietnam, paid a visit to Ministry of Justice. The Ambassador and Minister Ha Hung Cuong then discussed the matters relating to the bilateral cooperation.At the meeting, two sides had an open and effective discussion. Minister Ha Hung Cuong congratulated the Ambassador on undertaking his new term on the meaningful and significant occasion to Vietnam. While sharing the achievements of Justice Sector, the Minister affirmed that the cooperation between two countries and two ministries of Justice played an important role in perfecting the legal system as well as in judicial reform of Vietnam. He also expressed his hope that the bilateral cooperation will be more fruitful in the coming time, adding notary and lawyers were two areas that Vietnam expected to receive more helps from France. During the meeting, two sides also exchanged views on cooperation and reached a consensus on some basic points about child adoption as well as the status and operation of the Franco-Vietnamese House of Law - a useful tool which helps to boost the bilateral cooperation over the past few years./. -ITD
