On October 14, the senior delegation from Cuban state Council, headed by Homero Acosta Álvarez, Secretary of the State Council, came to greet Minister Ha Hung Cuong.
Secretary Homero Acosta Alvarez thanked for the warm welcome from Vietnamese Ministry of Justice. Expressing his admiration for Vietnam’s tremedous achievements during the renovation process, he hoped to further study and exchange experience with Vietnamese partners, especially in the legal reforms and law building.
As for his part, Minister Ha Hung Cuong said that Vietnamese Ministry of Justice was willing to share information, experience, success as well as shortcomings in the legal and judicial reforms in Vietnam.
They agreed that two sides would continue to develop exchanges and cooperation to strengthen traditional friendship and enhance mutual understanding and support.
After the meeting, the Cuban delegation had a working session with delegation from Ministry of Justice headed by Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien to exchange experience on Constitutions amendment and other issues including legal reforms, organization of the State, civil rights, land use policy.
