Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized that Uzbekistan has long been the close friends of Vietnam. He then informed his guests of the legal and judicial cooperation between the two countries and introduced the functions and tasks of Vietnam’s Justice Ministry.
As for his part, Deputy Director of the Uzbek General Procuracy briefed the organisation of the Uzbek General Procuracy and legal reforms in Uzbekistan.
Two sides also agreed to enhance the legal and judicial cooperation and exchange experience in the perfection of legal system, serving the legal and judicial reforms in each country as well as increasing the friendship between the two countries .
Earlier, the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam and the General Procuracy of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding on their future cooperation.
