Establishing formal cooperation on legal and judicial issues between Vietnam and Romania
On July 14, after the official visit to the Hungary, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and the senior delegation of the Vietnamese Justice Ministry has left Budapest for Bucharest to begin 02 days working trip in Romania at the invitation of the Romanian Minister of Justice - Robert Marius Cazanciuc. Accompanying to the Minister at the meeting with the Romanian authorities were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Romania Tran Xuan Thuy.

Two ministers have exchanged information on the socio- economic development, experiences on legal and judicial reform  and discussed professional issues of mutual concerns such as experience in constitutional amendments, organizational issues and activities of the judiciary (courts, prosecutors), the national judicial Council, the issue of judicial independence, corruption combating, the civil judgement execution, the management of criminal judgement enforcement and judicial assistance (notaries, lawyers) ...

After the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Minister Robert - Marius Cazanciuc signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of law and justice between the Vietnam Ministry of Justice and the Romanian Ministry of Justice. This agreement acknowledged the commitment to support each other and cooperate in many fields, contributing to the legal perfection of each country.

During his visit, Minister Ha Hung Cuong will continue to have meetings with other law enforcement and  justice agencies of Romania as the Supreme Council of Justice; the supreme prosecutor; the Supreme Court; the Committee on law, discipline and Immunities of Parliament; Prime Minister's Office ...
