Potential development of law and judicial cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands
From September 26 to 27, Minister Ha Hung Cuong and delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice has courtesy meetings with the Minister of Security and Justice of Netherlands Ivo Willem Opestelten and officials from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation; Commissioner General of Dutch Bar Association and visit the Law firm Kneppelhout & Korthals based in the city of Rotterdamand. The Minister also witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between Kneppelhout & Korthals and Law Firm Dao & Associates of Vietnam.

Having a talk with Minister Ivo Willem Opestelten, Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly spoke of the development of the Netherlands, the strategic partner cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands in the field of agricultural development. He also shared information on the socio-economic development and the implementation of legal and judicial reform in Vietnam.

At the meeting with representatives of the Dutch Bar Association (Nerderlandse Orde van Advocaten), both sides shared information on the activities of the lawyers of the two countries. Minister Ha Hung Cuong and representatives of the Dutch Bar Association appreciated the potential for cooperation between the lawyers in order to contribute to the development of investment and trade relations as well as cooperation between the two countries.

Having speech at Law firm Kneppelhout & Korthals based in Rotterdam and witnessing the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Kneppelhout & Korthals and Vietnamese law firm  Dao & Associates, Minister Ha Hung Cuong expressed his pleasure to witness the establishment of partnerships between prestigious law firms of the Netherlands and Vietnam.

The MOJ delegation concluded bilateral meetings in the Netherlands and continues to other important meetings with international organizations in the country.
