Deputy Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long received delegation of Kyushu University’s Professor
On the occasion of 10 years anniversary of Young Leaders Programme (YLP) - one of the legal education scholarship programs of the Japan Government for the Vietnamese young leaders and other developing countries in the world presented by the Faculty of Law, Kyushu University, Japan. Kyushu University delegation led by Professor Toshiyuki Kono, Director of YLP program with the top 09 law professors has the courtesy meeting with Justice Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long at the MOJ headquarter on September 17.

Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long believed that this work visit of professor delegation would work to expand and strengthen the legal and judicial training between the Ministry of Justice in general and Hanoi Law University, Institutes of Vietnam in particular with judicial training facilities of Japan, especially the Faculty of Law, Kyushu University, thereby contributing to the common strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan towards the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2013.

Professor Toshiyuki Kono on behalf of the delegation expressed thanks Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long for his warmly welcome. In this occasion, Professor introduced the achievements of 10 years of YLP program and other training programs of Kyushu University. At the same time, Professor Kono also expressed willingness of Kyushu University in expanding cooperation training of law and justice with the law and the lawyer's training base in Vietnam, particularly with Hanoi Law University and Judicial Academy.

According to the work program, the delegation attended the workshop on the topic "Legal and judicial training co-operation" by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the University of Kyushu hosted immediately after the meeting.
