The huge demand for building and perfecting the legal system of Vietnam
It was confirmed by Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung at the meeting with the delegation of experts from the national legislature development project on May 21 at the MOJ’s Headquarter.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung appreciated that the Government of Canada, through Canadian International Development Agency, has supported legal and justice reform in Vietnam for the renovation project through the LERAP (2002-2008), JUDGE (2006-2011), and currently the national legislature development project. He emphasized that MOJ put lots of expectation on the project in helping to build and perfect the legal system of Vietnam

On behalf of the delegation, the Counselor in charge of development of the Canadian Embassy, Mr. Andrew Smith, thanked for the warm welcome and the good remarks of Deputy Minister. He said the visit aimed at meeing with agencies and units participating in the project to determine the contents and collaborative activities, thereby to build the overall work plan of the project and action Plan 2012 on the basis of Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments on legislative development project. The team members also expressed their wish that the project is an opportunity for Vietnam and Canada to share experiences and learn more about the legal  building and perfecting process.
