Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong on November 28 received Ireland Minister of State for Trade and Development Jan O'Sullivan at the headquarter of Ministry of Justice.
At the meeting, Minister Jan O'Sullivan thanked the Justice Minister for his warm welcome and expressed her pleasure at increasingly good relations between Vietnam and Ireland. She also expressed her interest in cooperation in the field of adoption between the two countries and wished for further expand bilateral cooperation in other areas.
Minister Ha Hung Cuong thanked Minister Jan O'Sullivan for her concerns about Vietnam's children and cooperation between the two countries in the field of adoption. He hopes that as Vietnam joined Hague Convention on international adoption, from 2012 onwards, the cooperation between the two countries in this area will be further enhanced
On this occasion, Minister Ha Hung Cuong also thanked Irish Government and organizations for their support (especially in the legal and justice fields) to Vietnam in recent years./.-ITD
