Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong on 14 March held a reception for Mr. Jean Francois Girault, French ambassador in Vietnam. On this occasion, Mr F.T de Cousy- newly appointed Deputy Director of Vietnam-France Legal House- came to greet Justice Minister.
Vietnam always pays much attention to the legal cooperation with France. Vietnam-France Legal House is a special tool in the legal and judicial cooperation activities between two countries. The model of Vietnam-France Legal House has been highly appreciated, which contributes to the building of the rule of law State and judicial reform in Vietnam.
Mr J.F.Girault said that, the next meeting of the Orientation Committee of the Viet Nam - France Legal Home in April marked a significant milestone ( It marks 40 years since the establishment of Vietnam-France diplomatic ties and 20th anniversary of Vietnam-France Legal House). The meeting aimed at finding new ways to develop Vietnam-France Legal House.
Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly spoke of the preparations of French embassy in Vietnam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice for the next meeting of the Orientation Committee of the Viet Nam - France Legal Home. He also emphasized that Vietnam appreciated the role of Vietnam- France Legal House over the past years, contributing to the process of law building and legal reform in Vietnam.
At the meeting, Justice Minister and French ambassador agreed that it was necessary to diversify the partnership of the legal House and expand its operation in areas besides Hanoi and Hochiminh city./.-ITD
