This morning ( on 14 February), Justice Minister received Mr Izumi Arai, Vice-President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam.
At the reception, Mr Izumi Arai congratulated Vietnam on its recent achievements and thanked Ministry of Justice for helping JICA in implementing its projects in Vietnam. He also shared views on the Technical Cooperation Project between JICA and Ministry of Justice.
Justice Minister thanked Mr Izumi Arai for spending time visiting Ministry of Justice. He also expressed his pleasure to witness the bilateral cooperation. The Minister added that the next five-year plan of Vietnamese Government in general and of Ministry of Justice in particular was to build a complete legal system. Therefore, Japan’s support in the fields of laws and justice was essential and valuable.
Two sides also had further discussion about the technical cooperation project between JICA and Ministry of Justice as well as the meeting between Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary at the end of this month./-ITD
