On 4 January 2011, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong hosted a reception to Mr. Michael Michalak who has just wrapped up his Ambassadorship in Việt Nam.
At the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly hailed the Ambassador for his achievements during his term in Vietnam and thanked him for his contributions to activities boosting the bilateral ties. In the field of legal and judicial cooperation, the Minister also thanked Mr Michael Michalak and his colleagues for their aids and supports to Ministry of Justice in various domains: law building, judicial administration management, human resource training… In the coming time, two sides will further new projects of cooperation and perfect the legal basis to upgrade the bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership. He expressed the hope that the Ambassador would continue showing concern to Vietnam in general and Ministry of Justice in particular.
For his part, Mr Michael Michalak thanked Justice Minister for his good sentiments and affirmed that the bilateral relationship in the past time has gained good achievements. American government also highly appreciated the role of Ministry of Justice and hoped that the bilateral ties would be further boosted.
