Minister Ha Hung Cuong received  Mr Jean-Paul Decorps - Honorary President of the high Council of the French notaries
On November 25, the delegation of the high Council of the French notaries led by Mr Jean-Paul Decorps- its Honorary President-  paid a working visit to Vietnamese Ministry of Justice. Minister Ha Hung Cuong spent time receiving the delegation.

At the reception, Minister Ha Hung Cuong congratulated Mr Jean-Paul Decorps on successfully completing his term in the high Council of the French notaries and taking up the new post as President of the International Union of Notaries. He expressed the hope that, in the new post, Mr Jean-Paul Decorps would show more concerns to Vietnamese Ministry of Justice, especially in the field of notary.

Exchanging views on Vietnam’s participation in the International Union of Notaries, two sides agreed this matter needed implementing soon in the coming time. However, Vietnam still lacks of a necessary condition for participation, which is the establishment of the national Union of notaries. Ministry of Justice planned to found the national Union of Notaries. However, in order to concretize the plan, it needs efforts from Ministry itself as well as the international help.

Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Mr Jean-Paul Decorps also spent time discussing the activities of Vietnam- France Legal House, a special and important cooperation status between Vietnam and France./.- ITD
