Vietnam – Russia Judicial Cooperation: Dynamic and Positive

On 11th April, Minister Justice Le Thanh Long welcomed the delegation of Russia Ministry of Justice led by Deputy of Ministry of Justice Aristov Dmitri Vasilevich.
Deputy Minister Aristov Dmitri Vasilevich shared some main roles of the Russia Ministry of Justice such as managing legislate activity of legal authorities, supervising law execution; managing activies of non-profit organization… The Ministry has many diverse activities, focusing on promoting democracy and respecting law enforcement for codes to be effectively, timely and synchronously deployed. Deputy Minister Aristov Dmitri Vasilevich emphasized: along with the development of the cooperative relation between two States, two Governments, the partnership between two Ministries have developed towards a more dynamic and positive way in recent years.
 
Minister Le Thanh Long briefly informed the delegation of Russia Ministry of Justice about the politic, economic, society status of Vietnam resulted in the past term and also added that the Ministry of Justice is proving its position and has a lot of contribution to the development of the country. The Minister emphasized that Vietnam always consider the Soviet Union in the past and Russia nowadays a dear friend with full of experience to learn from in all fields, including judicial.
 
Two parties also talked about some fields which concerned both such as: activity of Bailiff organization, civil cases execution service, matters of the Criminal Code amendment…
 
On the same day, the delegation also greeted the directors of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate; worked with The Department of Civil Status, nationality, authentication about authenication service and had a special discussion with Legal Aid Department about organizing free legal aid system…
