The Hague Conference is a global intergovernmental organization which was founded in 1893. Its goal is to build bridges between diverse legal systems and facilitate cross-border co-operation in civil and commercial matters. This co-operation is primarily achieved through the use of multilateral treaties, or Hague Conventions. These Conventions serve global demands for cross-border solutions to disputes or transactions in the area of family law, legal co-operation / litigation and commercial and finance law. The delegation from Ministry of Justice headed by Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien paid a visit to the Netherlands to attend the event as well as the annual meeting of the Hague Conference.
