The national conference deploying the judicial work in 2013

On January 09, the national conference deploying the judicial work in 2013 was solemly held in Hanoi under the chair of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended and had a speech at the event.

Reviewing the tasks in 2012, Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien affirmed that the Sector has successfully fulfilled the assigned tasks and gained notable achievements in various areas such as: helping the Government to review the implementation of 1992 Constitution, simplifying the administrative procedures in the fields that are under State management by Ministry of Justice, solving a large number of requests and demand of people on civil status, citizenship, criminal records, registration on secured transactions… However, there still exists certain shortcomings relating to the quality of legal normative documents examination, the slow implementations of certain laws in real life, the increasing number of complaints and denunciations in civil judgment enforcement… In 2013, the Sector gives out 10 major groups of activities and 8 measures to overcome the difficulties and fulfill the assigned tasks.

The delegates also heard other reports and contributions on gathering the opinions on 1992 Constitution, experiences in monitoring the adminstrative procedures, building the legal normative documents and examining the legal normative documents in localities.

Addressing at  conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung high spoke of the Justice sector’s achievement, which contributes to the achievement of the whole country in all fields. He asked the sector to focus on its major tasks in 2013 and raised the capacities and responsibilities of legal and judicial agencies at all levels.

In the afternoon, the participants will continue to discuss significant matters in legal and judicial fields.
