On 20 December 2012, the JPP partnership committee meeting held the 3rd meeting under the chairmanship by Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien and Danish Ambassador John Nielsen. The meeting aimed at reviewing the implementation of JPP in 2012 and orientations in 2013.
The representatives of the Central Judicial Reform Steering Committee, Ministry of Justice, Supreme People’s Court, Supreme People’s Procuracy, Vietnam Bar Federation, Justice Initiative Facilitation Fund, EU delegation, Swedish Embassy and Danish Embassy participated the meeting.
Addressing at the meeting both Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien and Danish Ambassador John Nielsen highly appreciated the JPP’s achievements which positively contributes to the judicial reform in Vietnam. However, they agreed that the donors and Vietnamese sides need to review the implementation of JPP to enhance the effectiveness and meeting the increasing demand of the judicial reform in Vietnam.
