Vietnamese Ministry of Justice is now in coordination with UNICEF on the implementation of project "a friendly judicial system for juvenile" with the desire to minimize the application of criminal penalties to children. The Deputy Minister hoped both sides would make joint efforts to implement the project to ensure the best interests of children. In addition, he also proposed UNICEF to support Vietnam in the field of civil status, namely the complete and correct implementation of the birth certificate registration for children.
Agree with the recommendations of the Deputy Minister, Mr. Daniel Toole said UNICEF was willing to assist and cooperate with Vietnamese Ministry of Justice in the field of child protection.
