Vietnam - Ireland signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of law and judicial reform
Minister Ha Hung Cuong on September 23 signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnamese Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Justice and Equality of Ireland on cooperation in the field of law and Justice after witnessing the signing of agreement with the administrative procedures applied in cooperative adoption between Vietnam and Ireland.

Attending at the workshop, Minister Ha Hung Cuong appreciated the development of Ireland in recent years and the contribution of the legal system in the development process, with the country's development achievements and development of the legal system of Ireland. Vietnam wants to learn and share experiences on legal and judicial reform with Ireland, particularly issues such as juvenile justice, management of local courts, legal aid framework are the strengths of the Irish Department of Justice and Equality.

On behalf of the Ireland Ministry of Justice and Equality, Minister of State Kathleen Lynch confirmed the desire to establish cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam and hope this partnership will contribute to boosting relations the friendship between Vietnam and Ireland.

On this occasion, Minister Ha Hung Cuong has invited the Minister of Justice and Equality Ireland to visit Vietnam in the coming time for both sides to continue the discussion and implementation of co-operation between the two ministries.
