On February 9, the editorial group for Law on grassroot- level conciliation held a meeting to give comments on the main contents of the draft Law on grassroot- level conciliation . Deputy Minister Nguyen Thuy Hien, Deputy Head of the compiling committee, chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were members of the editorial group from ministries, sectors and some departments under the MOJ.
At the meeting, members of the editorial group discussed, analyzed and gave comments on some main contents of the draft law as the term "grassroot-level"; scope of grassroot- level conciliation; criteria of conciliators ;organizational model of community conciliation centers; activities of grassroot-level conciliation…
After hearing the opinions of the editorial group’s members, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thuy Hien delivered concluding speech. After the meeting, the editorial group will continue researching, collecting opinions and revising the draft to prepare for the next meeting of the compiling Committee and the editorial group by the end of February, 2012./.-ITD
