On 12 December, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong had a meeting with the senior delegation of Lao People's Court Supreme led by the Head of the Lao People's Supreme Court Khamphan Sithidampha on the occasion of its working visit to Vietnam.
The visit aimed at exchanging experiences in legal and judicial areas and enhancing the traditional relations between the two countries’ court sectors.
At the meeting, Mr. Khamphan Sithidampha informed the Minister the delegation’s activities in Vietnam as well as reforms on Laos legal system.
Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly spoke of the cooperation between the two countries’ court sectors. He affirmed that the cooperation between the two sides’ justice sectors, courts and judgment enforcement agencies was very important to solve the criminal, civil and economic problems arising between the two countries. It was also the basis for economic development, protection of citizens and enteprises’ rights as well as promotion of the bilateral sustainable relations./.-ITD
