To implement the 2012 legal aids plan of Council for interdisciplinary collaboration in Quang Ninh province, the Council on July 29th hosted a talk show to provide thoroughly for legal aid receivers who were prisoners of Quang Ninh’s detention center.
Officials from Quang Ninh Centre of state legal aids, People’s procuracy had introduced the fundamental contents of Legal aid law and the Decree No.07/NĐ-CP, Circular No.10/2007/TTLT-BTP-BTC-VKSNDTC-TANDTC dated December 28th 2007 which directed the ways on applying regulations of legal aid.
It could be said that this dissemination for those who got legal aid was very meaningful. By this talk show, parts of Government and Communist Party’s policies were transferred to all of prisoners. This activity showed that the Government not only did not keep away from prisoners but also concerned about them.
Generally, the coordination of legal aid in proceedings was significantly improved in recent years. The cooperation between organizations was constantly effective to make sure the legal rights of prisoners done well. However, there were also difficulties in the collaboration between Centre of state legal aid, lawyers and agencies proceedings. The interdisciplinary coordination council agreed on some of measures to overcome difficulties in order to improve performance collaboration in coming time.
