On May 5, at the headquater of Ho Chi Minh municipal Department of Justice, the municipal notary society held the congress for the stage 2012-2015. Attending the congress were Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chinh, representatives of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh city, municipal departments and sectors, Hanoi municipal notary society and notaries in the city.
Under a decision by the Ho Chi Minh municipal People’s Committee, the society is a social-professional organization of notaries in Ho Chi Minh city with its own legal identity, stamp and bank account.The society will be managed by Ho Chi Minh municipal Department of Justice and other related departments and in compliance with the Vietnamese Notary Law.
At the Congress, the delegates discussed and exchanged views on the Action plan of the society in the stage 2012-2015 and regulations of the municipal notary society.
The Society's congress elected a 15-member executive board with Mr Phan Van Cheo as President and 4 Vice Presidents ( including Mr Nguyen Quang Thang, Ms Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen, Mr Nguyen Tri Hoa and Mr Doan Thanh Hai).
The establishment of the Notary Society aims to improve the professionalism of sector's operations.
