Promoting cooperation with Russia in legal officers trainingOn June 9th, Deputy Minister of Justice Phan Chi Hieu gave a courtesy reception to Mr Smirnov Valeriy Alexeevich – Head of Department of International cooperation from Russia Academy of Law and National Security.Mr. Smirnov was thankful for Mr. Deputy Minister’s courtesy and informed that the Academy of Law and National Security is part of the Academy of National Economy and State Administration, also directly under the Russia President (RANEPA). The Academy was established in September 2010 according to the Resolution of the President about the merging of the National Economy Academy which is directly under the Russia Government, the Russia Administrative Academy and 12 other citizen service academies in the area.
Mr. Smirnov also shared with the Deputy Minister about the meeting with Hanoi Law University. He said that the Academy of National Economy and State Administrative and the European Organization of State law, an international organization which the Academy is a member of are very interested in cooperating with Vietnam Ministry of Justice in general and Hanoi Law University in particular.
Deputy Minister Phan Chi Hieu confirmed that Vietnam Ministry of Justice is willing to cooperate with Russia Ministry of Justice, legal and judicial training facilities. He said that Vietnam’s legal system, legal officers training, legal science researching are very similar to those of the Russia, which is an advantage for both sides to cooperate.
Mr. Deputy Minister hoped that Mr. Smirnov will continue to facilitate and promote the cooperation between the Academy of Law and National Security and Hanoi Law University, between Vietnam Ministry of Justice and Academy of National Economy and State Administration and the European Organization of State law.
