Celebrating 26 years of Russia Day in HanoiOn June 10th, the Russia Embassy in Vietnam formally organized the Celebration of the 26th Russia Day (12-06-1990/12-06-2016). Attending the Ceremony was Russia the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Embassador in Vietnam Constantine Vasilievic Vnucop, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long and representatives from many ministries, organs, departments of Vietnam.Speaking at the Ceremony, Embassador Constantine Vasilievic Vnucop said that although it was not easy recently, due to hard-work and persistence, the people of Russia have suceeded in achieving the objectives, building a foundation for the nation and the economy, eusuring a worthy position for Russia as one of the leading countries in the world, strengthening Russia’s international reputation as a trustworthy partner. He emphasized that Russia’s primary mission now is to continue to build “a modern, steady and fair country for the new economy, create advantages for the development and creativity of the people.
On behalf of leaders of the Party and Vietnam Government, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee sincerely congratulated Russia on their achievments over the past 26 years in developing, modernizing the entire country in order to claim the role and reputation of a leading country in the world, also contribute to the peace, stability and prosperity of the world.
Minister Le Thanh Long confirmed that for over 60 years, despite the ups and downs of history, the relation and cooperation between Vietnam and Russia still continue to be nurtured and raised to the next level. He reminded an important mark when Vietnam and Russia upgraded the relation to Comprehensive strategic partners in 2012, which create a new framework for bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Minister also believed that with the determination and willpower of the Leaders, along with the efforts of Ministries, organs, localities and enterprises of both countries, the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Russia will not stop developing.
