At the meeting, the Minister congratulated the Cuban ambassador on his new post and praised bilateral cooperation between two countries. The Minister was glad to see the achievements of Cuba over the past year and stressed that the Vietnamese people want to maintain and promote the two countries’ relations and the Vietnamese always share Cuba’s difficulties. He also hoped that the two Ministries of Justice would cooperate more closely.
Thanked for the warm welcome of the Justice Minister, Ambassador Herminio Lospez Diaz said the Cuban Party, State and people hope to further promote their special traditional relations with Vietnam. He affirmed that the Cuban Party and State were delighted at the fine development of the two countries’ ties. He promised to do his best to strengthen the bilateral relation, especially in the legal and judicial field.
