At the meeting, the Minister gave thanks to the good sentiment of the Professor and his Japanese colleagues to Ministry of Justice . He hoped that the Professor would continue to help Vietnam successfully build a Civil Code to suit a modern market economy and best serve the people and enterprises.
Professor Morishima said that in the globalisation process, Vietnam needed to amend its Civil Code to meet the demands and requirements of economic integration. He promised to do his best to help Vietnam perfect its legal system as well as the Civil Code in particular.
