Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien on February 26 had a meeting with Mr. Marc Spitzkatz, Head of the Rule of Law Programme Asia and Dr. Thomas Richter, Representative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on the occasion of their working visit to Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien affirmed and appreciated the support of KAS for Vietnam in nearly 20 years, especially in building the rule of law in recent years. Deputy Minister said that the German experience is useful for Vietnam in building the rule of law state.
Mr. Marc Spitzkatz said that Vietnam has strong progress in building the rule of law state. He added that the visit to Vietnam aiming at assessing legal dialogue in Asia of KAS. He also expressed his hope that both sides would have opportunity to discuss and clarify issues of mutual interest, creating premise for further cooperation.
