On January 21, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and his Cambodian counterpart, Justice Minister Ang vong Vathana, signed the Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The agreement stipulated contents, principles, requirements and procedures for the implementation of judicial assistance in the civil matters between the two countries.
Addressing at the signing ceremony, Minister Ang Vong Vathana emphasized that the Agreement was the results after years of cooperation between the two Ministries and showed the traditional relationship between two countries. He expected that the two countries’ authorized agencies would soon complete all the necessary procedures that make the agreement soon take effective.
Agreed with Minister Ang Vong Vathana, Minister Ha Hung Cuong shared that the agreement will be a basis to further expanding existing relations between the two countries and encourage development and prosperity in both.
