Vietnam and Hungary expand the legal and judicial cooperation

On November 14-16, Deputy Minister, Minister of Public Administration and Justice Tibor Navracsics pays an official visit to Vietnam.

On the morning of November 15, Minister Ha Hung Cuong had a talk with Deputy Minister, Minister of Public Administration and Justice Tibor Navracsics to discuss the matters of mutual concerns, especially the orientations to boost legal and judicial co-operation between the two countries.

At a later press conference, Vietnamese Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and Navracsics said the two sides shared experience in legislation and law enforcement as well as reached a consensus on an agenda for amending the judicial co-operation agreement in civil, family and criminal matters signed in 1985.

The two ministers signed a judicial and legal co-operation agreement between the two ministries, under which they will share experience in perfecting the activities of judicial agencies and the State management in a bid to protect the legitimate rights of the two peoples during the global integration.

They also agreed to perfect civil and penal laws, share experience in monitoring law enforcement and apply information technology in the management of administrative agencies.
