At the reception, the Deputy Minister highly appreciated the effective cooperation between Ministry of Justice and UNICEF. He emphasized that the meeting aimed at concretize the matters that Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Ms Lotta Sylwander had discussed at the earlier meeting in December 2010.
Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung also proposed department of International Cooperation and other departments under Ministry of Justice to discuss with UNICEF to set out a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Ministry of Justice and UNICEF for the year 2011 and the following years.
Ms Lotta Sylwander said that UNICEF was now building the next five-year cooperation program with Vietnamese government. UNICEF hoped to cooperate with Ministry of Justice to solve the matters relating to children such as: child trafficking, child sex abuse, juvenile justice … She also took this occasion to express her hope to further expand the bilateral cooperation in the coming time./.ITD
