Decree on education, literacyGovernment on March 24 issued Decree No. 20/2014/ND-CP on education, literacy.This Decree provides for conditions to ensure responsibilities of agencies, standards, competence and profile recognized as universal preschool for children 5 years of age, universal primary education, secondary high school education and literacy facility.Decree on policies for education, literacy as follows : State investment priorities , enabling the educational institutions of the national education system to perform their tasks education, literacy, encourage and create favorable conditions for international organizations , foreigners and Vietnamese residing abroad to participate in the implementation of education, literacy in Vietnam as stipulated law, state policy implementation support for the object to be exempted or reduced tuition and academic support costs for participating in education programs, literacy prescribed; personally involved in the organization, management, teaching and other work to implement education, literacy remuneration prescribed by the State.Subject whose literacy in age from 15 to 60 years old illiterate. The education program is implemented literacy education program for primary or secondary literacy programs and continuing education after literacy.This Decree shall take effect as from May 15, 2014.
