On June 22, the compilation committee for the capital law, including Minister Ha Hung Cuong, Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao, leaders of Ministry of Justice, municipal People’s Committee, Vietnam Fartherland Front, Government’s Office, Ministries of Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Transport, Education and Training, Construction, Foreign Affairs…held the fourth meeting to give comments and opinions to the draft Law on Capital.
The draft Law has 4 chapters and 32 articles, of which 15 articles are unchanged. Relating to the conditions of immigration into the city, the compilation committee still wondered about adding the conditions on occupation and stable income. Members of the committee also proposed to keep the stipulation on the capital’s symbol. The meeting also focused on discussing other matters of urban planning and management, urban construction, moving the training and medical agencies out of the inner city, responsibilities and roles of the capital’s authority…
As scheduled, the draft law will be submitted to the National Assembly for first approval at the fourth session ( in December, 2012).
