The second legal policy dialogue was held in Hanoi
Implementing the 2011 Action Plan and within the scope of UNDP Project “Strengthening Access to Justice and Protection of Rights in Viet Nam”, Ministry of Justice and the United Nations Development Programme on March 29 held the second legal policy Dialogue on administrative procedure law.

Attending the forum were representatives from the Central Steering Committee on Judicial Reform, the Party Central Committee's Office, the National Assembly, People’s Supreme Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, departments under Ministry of Justice, other Ministries, Sectors and localities as well as foreign embassies and international organizations… Standing Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien and Ms Setsuko Yamazaki, UNDP country director, co-chaired the forum.

The Forum aimed at sharing information and discussing issues relating to administrative procedure law.

Addressing at the forum, Standing Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien said the regular event effectively serves for activities of aid coordination and strategy building that are among important contents under the One UN Initiative signed between the United Nations and the Vietnamese Government.

At the event, Dr. Dao Thi Xuan Lan, Judge and Tribunal President of the Administrative Court of the Supreme People’s Court, presented the new contents of CAP 2010.
Dr. Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Chief of the Central Steering Committee on Judicial Reform introduced foreign countries’ experiences in dealing with the Supreme Court’s decisions and made comments on Vietnam’s mechanisms.

The delegates also heard presentations delivered by Nicholas Booth, UNDP Vietnam Policy Advisor for Rule of law and Access to Justice, and Dang Thanh Son, Director of the National Centre for Judicial Records./.-ITD
