Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong paid a working visit to Ninh Binh province
On 12 March, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung had a working session with leaders of Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and representatives from the provincial agencies of Police, Procuracy, Court, Finance and Home Affairs.
Evaluating the role of justice sector in the provincial socio-economic development, Mr Nguyen Van Tinh, Chairman of Ninh Binh city People’s Committee, said that the province and city’s leaders always appreciated the “guarding” role of judicial work.

Ninh Binh is now striving to become the second-grade city in 2015 and to build a modern and civilized city so that the legal dissemination to improve people’s legal awareness is a crucial task.

Leaders of Ninh Binh province and city also expressed their wonder at the inconsistency in the promulgation of legal normative documents, the treatment for people working in justice sector…

Addressing at the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong expressed his hope that leaders of Ninh Binh province and city would pay more attention to the state management on law building in the province, judicial support and the implementation of the laws on: nationality, judicial records, child adoption…

Reporting to Minister Ha Hung Cuong on the civil judgement enforcement in Ninh Binh province, Mr Nguyen Chi, Director of the civil judgement enforcement department said that, in 2010, the provincial department accomplished 1.760 cases and collected VND 38 billion. However, the remaining civil cases passed to 2011 were 1.814 cases. At present, the number of remaining civil cases in Ninh Binh province was at higher rate comparing with other neighboring provinces.

Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly praised the efforts of the civil judgement enforcement department in implementing their duties. He also required the provincial department of the civil judgement enforcement to find out the causes and ways to solve the remaining cases soon.

At the working session, the provincial leaders and representatives of other functional agencies affirmed that they would pay more attention to the matter and be willing to help the civil judgement enforcement department solve the matter./.-ITD
